Tate of Andalusia- Integrative Student Inclusion Within Framework of Vocational Education

The participants of the project will be a group of 6 students with special needs from the Basic Vocational School. Students will carry out a two week professional training in Spanish restaurants according to their professional profile.
The project partner of Specjalny Ośrodek Szkolno- Wychowawczy is a Spanish organization euroMind which is very well experienced in carrying out European projects, including with disabled students.  We expect that thanks to cooperation with euroMind, the project will be very successful and our students will gain key skills and competencies which will be confirmed by certificates such as Europass Mobility, ECVET.

During non-work time, students will take part in the Spanish course and supportive classes, both which aim towards dissemination of the course and results of the project. Students also will participate in integrative activities connected with the second part of cultural training

Aims of the project:
- training of vocational competencies supervised by professionals
- developing and acquiring new professional skills and abilities
- using European tools to facilitate the recognition and transfer of qualifications (ECVET, Europass)
- learning procedures and standards of European labour markets
- improving language competencies and increasing motivation to learn foreign languages
- developing European awareness, learning about Spanish customs traditions and culture
- increasing awareness of European values
- enhancing intercultural awareness
- increasing self-esteem by learning about their strengths and weaknesses in action
- raising the motivation for further participation in education
- increasing graduates' chances to get a job on the local, national and European labor market

Estimated results:
- to increase vocational abilities of participating students
- improved learning perfomance
- confirmed acquired abilities by European certificates and tools
- improved foreign language competencies
- acquisition of competencies to work with people from other cultures
- development of communication in a non-homogeneous language and culture environment
- better knowledge of European projects and EU values
- increased self-empowerment and self-esteem
- increased sense of initiative and entrepreneurship
- more active participation in social life
- increased motivation for taking part in future education proceding the mobility period abroad
- enhanced employability and improved career prospects
